Finding Home in the Mist


Moving from Mexico to the PNW felt less like a change of address and more like a return to myself. There’s a distinct grounding energy to North Vancouver... the way the heavy canopy of the old-growth forest drinks in the rainfall, the damp earth breathing life into delicate mosses and wild mushrooms along the trail, and the deep, quiet rhythm of the North Shore mountains. Surrounding myself with this mist-laden landscape triggered a powerful artistic shift, bringing a raw, organic depth to my perspective. Nature isn't just a backdrop for my work; it’s my primary muse.
